MIA is a group for moms to come to for community, rest, encouragement and Biblical mentorship. It is open to moms in all stages, but the majority of our members are moms of babies, preschool and elementary aged kids. We have moms from all over the area and church membership is not required. We meet two Monday mornings a month and childcare is provided for babies-prek. You can find more information below and a registration link at the bottom of this page. When and where are the meetings?
Meetings are from 9:30-11:30am and take place in the Fellowship Center of Grapevine's First.

Is there childcare?
Care is provided for children from 6 weeks through preschool. When registering yourself, we ask that you indicate how many children you have that will need care. There is a separate official childcare registration form that can be filled once you have registered, but is not due until mid August because we know that preschool plans can change over the summer.
How much are dues?
The registration fee is $105 per year to cover various costs such as t-shirts, speakers, first meeting gifts, catered food, craft/service supplies, and social events.
Are seats assigned for meetings?
Yes, you will be assigned a specific table that you will sit with for the year. But don't worry! You will be able to request a friend to sit with and will have opportunities to meet and mingle with other moms as well. We feel assigned tables will help facilitate conversation, deepen relationships and allow trust to build within a small group of moms. Tables will be led, in partnership, by a mentor mom and a member of our MIA Leadership Team. Mentor moms are slightly more seasoned moms who have experience and wisdom to share. These moms have been called to serve our ministry and pour into our members. They will lead conversation, provide mentorship and prayerfully lead our members at each meeting.
What will a typical meeting look like?
Most meetings will consist of breakfast, hearing from a speaker and discussion with your table. We are working hard on a fabulous line up of speakers for the 2023-2024 year! We will hear from a variety of speakers ranging from Biblical teaching and encouragement and raising Godly children to various topics of interest to moms such as health, marriage, parenting, child growth and development, developing traditions, etc.
Can I bring my baby with me to the meetings?
Yes! Babies may begin going to the nursery once they are six weeks old. Until then, you are welcome to bring them with you to the meeting. We do encourage new moms to begin leaving babies in the nursery around 4 months old.
What if I must miss a meeting?
No problem! We hope you can attend most meetings, but if you have to miss, please just let your Table Leader and/or Mentor Mom know so that we know everything is okay with you.
Are there other events besides the Monday morning meetings?
Yes! We try to host a play date once a month and several Moms Nights Out over the course of the year. We do hope that you join us for any and all events that you are able to attend! Keep an eye on the FB page and our IG account for updates. We will also send out emails with important dates and announcements.
