Local Mission

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. Jeremiah 29:7

Our church is strategically placed in the middle of the DFW metroplex and in the heart of the historic city of Grapevine. We very much recognize that God has “sent” us to this place. We love our city and the communities around it and we desire to see them grow and flourish as wonderful centers for commerce and family living. We are mobilizing to be the best citizens, contributing to the welfare of our city and surrounding communities.

The following are descriptions of strategic local partners and ministries that you can be a part of.

City of Grapevine

The City of Grapevine is home to nearly 52,000 people and over 3,000 small and large businesses. Over 20 million people visit our festivals, hotels, and retail destinations annually. This is a happening place! We are constantly looking for ways to serve our city. Most prominently, we provide a rest station during Grapevine’s two Main Street festivals in May and September. Our proximity to Main St. makes for a great venue to provide clean restrooms and baby changing stations along with a warm smile and cold bottle of water. The city also has a great volunteer program and we want to be a part.

We have partnered with Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) to impact the Grapevine community. GRACE is a nonprofit relief agency that provides food, clothing, financial assistance, and other vital necessities to people who are struggling with limited income or recent emergency. One program our church partakes in every summer through GRACE is the Feed Our Kids program. This amazing program feeds children who rely on these lunches throughout the summer. We are in charge of one of the distribution stations for one week in June.
GRACE offers many different ways to serve by showing compassion and giving assistance as a response to God’s grace.

Human Coalition

Human Coalition is committed to a mission of transforming our culture of death into a culture of life to end abortion in America. Human Coalition specifically works with church outreach teams, like FBC Grapevine, as they believe that positive culture change occurs through the influence of the church.

To be a part of or volunteer with Human Coalition, please contact Joan Lott at or Shannon Bruner at

International Friends

The world has literally come to Grapevine. International Friends is an English as a Second Language program here at FBC Grapevine. Students from over 30 countries have come to International Friends to learn conversational English. They have met new friends and have learned about American customs, as well as customs in other countries. Volunteers, who are native English speakers, provide ESL classes and learning activities. We also offer classes in citizenship, crafts, cooking, and Bible.

Volunteer Christian Builders

VCB is a nonprofit organization with a mission to advance the Lord’s Kingdom by assisting Bible believing, teaching, and practicing churches and encampments, especially in pioneer areas, by providing volunteer labor to construct buildings for worship and other building activities. FBC Grapevine offers a mission trip opportunity with this organization during the summer. You don’t have to work in construction or be a professional builder to volunteer.
