Equipping Rock56 kids for discipleship and leadership through the study and application of God’s Word with the aim of reaching Christ-likeness and spiritual maturity.
Mission Statement
To reach and teach children and equip their families in ways that will give them the greatest possible opportunity to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
I Timothy 4:12, “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Rock56 at First Baptist Church, Grapevine is different and unique to anything our preteens have experienced in Sunday School before. Preteens are not children and are not youth but they are special and unique and we have created Rock56 just for them – a place that is fun, dynamic, exciting, and where God’s Word is taught.
Rock56 offers age-appropriate activities organized to prepare them for leadership. They are given responsibility to, minister in our church and in our community, interact with their peers, and are growing deeper spiritually.
Rock56 Regular Weekly Schedule
- Bible Study: Sundays 9:45am - 10:45am
- Truth and Training: Sundays 5:00pm - 7:00pm
- Hands4Christ: Wednesdays 6:00pm - 6:45pm
- Discipleship: Wednesdays 6:45pm - 8:00pm
Rock56 leaders are strong Christian role models, dedicated, faithful, loving, caring, and devoted to our preteens in teaching them God’s Truth. They desire that our preteens have a personal, relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to guide them toward that goal.
