The mission of Bridges Accessibility Ministry is to make worship and other ministries and activities of First Baptist Church as accessible as possible for all of God's people.
ASL interpretation is provided for 8:30 a.m. worship service weekly.
C.A.R.T. Captioning is provided the 1st Sunday of the month in the 8:30 a.m. Worship service.
Assisted Listening Devices with neckloops, located at the Bridges Ministry kiosk in the foyer, are available for 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship and other activities in the worship center.
Large print Bibles and hymnals are available at the Bridge Accessibility kiosk in the foyer.
Portable Assisted Listening Devices and ASL interpretation are offered in various adult 9:45 a.m. Sunday Bible Study classes.
ASL interpretation, Assisted Listening Devices or other accommodations may be available for other activities by request. Every effort is made to have accommodations available for church-wide functions.
The church offers free ASL (American Sign Language) classes through out the year; please contact the church office for schedule.
First Baptist Church hosts a local chapter of HLAA, Hearing Loss Association of America, which meets at Just Off Main the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. (http://www.hlaagrapevine.com/)
