Josh King

Josh has been our pastor to students since November of 2009. His responsibilities are teaching and leading the students in grades 7-12. He and his wife, Jacki, have one son, Haddon, and live in Euless.

One of the hardest questions for Josh to answer is 'Where are you from?' He will answer that he was born in Virginia, spent age 3 to 8th grade in Southern Missippi (that's how you say it) and except for one semester in Florida has been in Texas. He started full time ministry in Athens at Age 18.

He loves to read and counts authors such as Anne Lammott, Mark Driscoll, Mark Batterson and Tim Keller amongst his favorites. Josh has earned a BA in Biblical Studies and a MA in Religion and is currently working on an Mdiv (he does not know why).

Josh and Jacki have been married since Oct of 2005. They met at Criswell College where they both earned Bachelors degrees. She speaks throughout the state predominately on the topic of teen and millennial girl ministry.

Josh sums up his ministry style and philosophy in two words - Simple and Relational. Both he and Jacki strive to build lasting community around Christ with a compassionate emphasis.
